A non governmental organization NGO called Grassroots Mobilizer for Better Nigeria Initiative under the founder Dr Fatima Muhammad Goni  appoint Alhaji Basiru Muhammad Sunusi Galdiman Dutse as National Patron of the association.
During the presentation of the appointment letter, Dr Fatima Goni said the appointment is based on the recommendation of the selection and screening committee, she mentioned that Galdiman Dutse selection for the National Patron is as a result of his recognition of his outstanding performance and commitment to the Grassroots development including his dedication to the welfare of marginalized communities.

Dr Goni explained that, the Grassroots Mobilizer for Better Nigeria Initiative empowered marginalized communities, particularly through educational support, health care and Vocational training programs. She added that GMBNI has grown into a national movement, with over ten million registered grassroots members across Nigeria 36 States, including the FCT.

Receiving the appointment letter, the Galadiman Dutse also Senior Council member Dutse Emirate Council, Jigawa State Alhaji Basiru Muhammad Sunusi thank Almighty Allah for sparing his life to live up to this period, he commended the effort of the Dr Fatima Muhammad Goni for establishing a wonderful initiative for supporting less privileged and poor vulnerable groups, he  say the rewards is there after.
Galadima stated that community service is inherited and a continued task in his life, therefore he accepted the appointment and prayed for Allah's guidance in discharging the responsibilities.

The Galadiman Dutse called upon the governments, corporate organizations, Development partners, individual Philanthropists and other Charity organizations to respond to the needs of Vulnerable and marginalized communities for the sake of reducing poverty level in Nigeria.
